💨 Abstract
In Cape Town, the City's annual no-mow program has started, temporarily halting grass cutting in parks and public spaces to promote wildlife and natural biodiversity. This pause, part of the Spring Readiness Programme, allows flowers to bloom and seeds to spread, encouraging pollinators and supporting the city's ecological web. Signs mark participating areas, asking residents to respect these patches of urban nature. The mowers will return by the end of November.
