💨 Abstract
South Africa’s Parliament has adopted the One Stop Border Post Bill, which aims to streamline cross-border trade, travel, and security by establishing shared border posts with neighboring countries. The bill allows joint inspections, reducing delays and congestion while ensuring compliance with national laws. It aligns with regional trade agreements like the SADC Protocol and AfCFTA, promoting economic integration. Once enacted, it will enhance business efficiency, tourism, and regional cooperation.
