💨 Abstract

The South African Police Service (SAPS) dismantled a gun trafficking syndicate operating between Gauteng and the Western Cape. During an evening operation in Meyersdal, Johannesburg, they seized 30 unlicensed 9mm firearms and arrested two suspects. The guns were intended for the Western Cape, known for high gun violence. The operation involved collaboration with multiple units and private security.
