đź’¨ Abstract
The South African Police Service (SAPS) dismantled a gun trafficking syndicate operating between Gauteng and Western Cape. During an evening operation in Meyersdal, Johannesburg, police seized 30 unlicensed 9mm firearms and arrested two suspects. The syndicate was believed to be supplying illegal guns to the Western Cape, an area plagued by gun violence. The operation was a collaborative effort involving multiple law enforcement agencies and private security.
