💨 Abstract
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in KwaZulu-Natal have escalated disciplinary action against Mbongiseni Khumalo, a councillor in the eMadlangeni Municipality, after he accepted the position of deputy mayor without the party's approval. This action was taken following a "private arrangement" with the Inkatha Freedom Party (IFP), leading the EFF to instruct Khumalo to resign but failed to comply.
