💨 Abstract
Julius Malema, EFF leader, has issued a qualified apology to Naledi Pandor, a former minister, for defaming her by accusing her of receiving a loan from VBS Mutual Bank. Malema claims his statement was part of political discourse and did not intend to harm Pandor's reputation. However, he stopped short of saying he lied and regretting his words publicly, as Pandor had hoped.
