💨 Abstract
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) expressed alarm over American gun violence following the killing of conservative figure Charlie Kirk, a supporter of former U.S. President Donald Trump. The EFF pointed out that Kirk's death highlights the dangers of gun culture, citing escalating gun violence and the failure of U.S. Congress to implement stricter reforms. The party also questioned the safety of hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the U.S. due to frequent mass shootings.
