đź’¨ Abstract
The **Electoral Commission of South Africa (IEC)** has rejected the registration of the **"Islamic State of Africa"** (ISA) as a political party. The decision, made by CEO Sy Mamabolo, was due to objections from over 200 individuals and organizations. Key reasons included the ISA's constitution being deemed antithetical to South Africa's secular principles and potentially offensive to parts of the population. ISA has 30 days to appeal this decision.
