💨 Abstract
President Cyril Ramaphosa announced he will meet with US President Donald Trump soon to discuss US-South Africa relations. The meeting follows a phone call in which they discussed the need for peace, particularly the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Relations between the two countries have deteriorated since Trump took office, with aid being frozen and tariffs imposed on South African exports.
