💨 Abstract
On National Women’s Day, South African President Cyril Ramaphosa and EFF leader Julius Malema emphasized the financial and socio-economic hurdles women face. Ramaphosa noted progress with legislation and government support but insisted more is needed for true gender equality. He stressed the necessity of skills training, entrepreneurship, and equal job opportunities. Similarly, Malema highlighted the struggles of domestic workers and urged valuing women by providing financial support.
