đź’¨ Abstract
The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) in South Africa have demanded the immediate removal of Gayton McKenzie from his position as Minister of Sports, Arts & Culture due to a history of racist and dehumanizing comments. McKenzie has been criticized for using derogatory slurs against black people and making offensive statements about their ambitions and lifestyles. The EFF argues that his statements reflect anti-black prejudice and reinforce language used by white supremacists and apartheid apologists.
