South African President Cyril Ramaphosa has confirmed that senior government officials have been sent to the U.S. to prepare for formal trade negotiations after U.S. tariffs on South African imports were imposed. The delegation includes representatives from The Presidency and the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition.
