💨 Abstract
After months of financial mismanagement and leadership failures, South Africa's Transport Minister Barbara Creecy dissolved the Road Accident Fund (RAF) board. The move comes after severe governance issues, including reckless decisions and boardroom conflicts. An interim authority will be appointed, and a new board will be selected through a transparent process. The Special Investigating Unit may expand its corruption probe. Minister Creecy also aims to push forward the Road Accident Benefit Scheme Bill to simplify claims.
