💨 Abstract
Two specialist sniffer dogs from Germany have been imported to South Africa to combat rhino poaching and other wildlife crimes. These dogs, part of the "Save the Rhino" project, are trained to detect rhino horn, ivory, pangolin scales, weapons, and ammunition. Led by trainer Perdita Lübbe-Scheuermann, the initiative aims to enhance frontline enforcement through canine units.
