After years of struggles, South African Airways (SAA) is profitable and contributing to the economy. The airline, which was affected by corruption and was grounded, now flies domestic, continental, and international routes. It has reported a profit of R252 million for the 2022/23 financial year and is expected to contribute significantly to South Africa's GDP by 2029/2030.
