💨 Abstract
The six major dams in the Western Cape, South Africa, have surged past 70% capacity, reaching 74.2% as of July 3, 2025. This significant increase, up from 65.7% the previous week, is attributed to recent heavy rainfall. Theewaterskloof and Voëlvlei, the two largest dams, are at 71.6% and 66.9% capacity, respectively.
