đź’¨ Abstract

A South African radio presenter, Nonkululeko Mantula, and four co-accused were granted R30,000 bail each in a case involving the alleged recruitment of South Africans to join the Russian military. The Kempton Park Magistrate’s Court imposed conditions including surrendering passports and prohibiting international travel. Mantula, who is also co-chairperson of the BRICS Journalists Association, had her request to travel to Venezuela denied.
