💨 Abstract
After four shark attacks in 48 hours in eastern Australia, authorities warned swimmers and surfers to avoid beaches due to heavy rains causing murky waters, ideal for bull sharks. A surfer was bitten on Tuesday, following attacks on a man at Manly, an 11-year-old boy's surfboard, and a 12-year-old boy who is critically injured. Scientists attribute the increased shark activity to recent heavy rainfall.
