💨 Abstract
South Africa has decided to skip the 2026 G20 meetings after being barred from attending by the United States. The U.S., under President Donald Trump, has been critical of South Africa's policies and boycotted South Africa's G20 summit in November. South Africa's presidential spokesman, Vincent Magwenya, announced that the country will resume participation when the G20 presidency moves to Britain in 2027.
