💨 Abstract
After the annual sardine run, thirteen beaches along KwaZulu-Natal’s South Coast have reopened. The KZN Sharks Board confirmed that most sardine activity has moved offshore, reducing the risk of marine predators and making the waters safer. These beaches are popular among tourists and offer clean beaches, lively promenades, and family-friendly activities. However, five beaches remain temporarily closed as a precaution.
