💨 Abstract
A survey by Profmed found that 75% of South African healthcare professionals lack confidence in the National Health Insurance (NHI) improving healthcare. While 70% are satisfied with private healthcare, 60% distrust the public system due to understaffing and poor infrastructure. Profmed CEO Craig Comrie suggested mandatory medical aid for employed South Africans to reduce costs.
