💨 Abstract
A Mpumalanga woman, Ntombelanga Pretty Labane, allegedly forged her matric certificate to earn R1.2 million as a teacher. She used the fake certificate to gain admission and a Bachelor of Education degree at Walter Sisulu University. Her fraud was discovered after a whistle-blower reported her, and she is now facing fraud charges in court.
