đź’¨ Abstract

The U.S. and China have extended their tariff truce until November 10, 2025, averting immediate trade escalations. This decision delays planned tariff increases and maintains current rates for both countries during a crucial retail peak. Key actions include the suspension of additional duties, easing non-tariff barriers, and lifting some export controls. Both nations aim to address national security and economic stability issues, but unresolved tensions persist, especially over tech exports and oil purchases.
