💨 Abstract
A gunman, identified as Shane Tamura from Las Vegas, opened fire in a New York City office building at 345 Park Avenue, killing four people and critically injuring a fifth. The gunman also killed himself. The building houses finance firms like Blackstone, KPMG, and the NFL. Tamura had a history of mental health issues and acted alone. This incident is one of 254 mass shootings in the U.S. this year.
