💨 Abstract
The United States has temporarily suspended routine visa services for Zimbabwean citizens. This move, effective from Friday, is part of wider immigration restrictions on African nations under former President Donald Trump's policies. The suspension aims to tackle visa overstays and misuse, with most diplomatic and official visas remaining unaffected. Additionally, the U.S. has directed 36 mostly African countries, including Zimbabwe, Malawi, and Zambia, to improve travel documentation and address illegal immigration status or risk entry bans.
