💨 Abstract
Water discolouration has been reported in at least 18 suburbs of the City of Tshwane, affecting parts of Pretoria North and East. The City of Tshwane assures that the water is safe to drink despite the discolouration, which is due to the rapid filling of the Vaal Dam releasing natural organic matter. This discolouration, while unsightly, does not pose any health risks according to water quality tests.
