💨 Abstract
The six major dams in the Western Cape have reached 85% capacity due to recent heavy rain, slightly up from last week but still below the same period last year. While current levels are encouraging, authorities continue to stress the importance of sustainable water management and responsible usage, particularly in light of past droughts like the 'Day Zero' crisis. Additional rain is expected, but long-term water security remains a priority.
