💨 Abstract
The South African Weather Service (SAWS) has warned of a cut-off low pressure system bringing cold, wet conditions to central and eastern provinces from Wednesday to Thursday. This includes areas like Gauteng and KwaZulu-Natal with scattered showers and thundershowers, and snowfall anticipated over the escarpments of the Eastern Cape and Lesotho. Daytime temperatures may drop to zero or below in some regions.
