💨 Abstract
In Mhlasini, KwaZulu-Natal, a man assaulted his partner after she confessed to spending her R350 Social Relief of Distress (SRD) grant on alcohol. The altercation escalated, leading the man to allegedly pull out a knife and threaten her. The woman sustained a deep cut to her hand but declined to press charges. The incident was reported and responded to by Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA).
