The Springboks named Jesse Kriel as the new captain for their match against the Barbarians on Saturday, following Siya Kolisi's withdrawal due to injury. This marks Kriel's first time leading the team. Marco van Staden replaces Kolisi in the starting lineup. The rest of the squad remains unchanged since the announcement on Tuesday. The match is part of the Qatar Airways Cup at DHL Stadium in Cape Town.
