💨 Abstract
Springbok player Jasper Wiese received a red card for allegedly headbutting an opponent during a match against Italy. Unlike other similar incidents during that round, where decisions were swiftly made, Wiese's case was referred to a disciplinary committee for a full hearing. The new disciplinary process allows for serious incidents to be reviewed by a disciplinary panel, with the possibility of appeal by the player or team. Wiese may face a ban due to his past incidents of foul play.
