The Springboks plan to use a flexible captaincy approach in 2025, despite Siya Kolisi likely remaining the main captain. Cheslin Kolbe will serve as vice-captain, with younger players like Sacha Feinberg-Mngomezulu or Vincent Tshituka possibly getting a chance to lead the team in certain matches. Kolisi, with 61 Tests as captain, is close to becoming the most-capped Springbok captain.
