Bevin Fortuin, a former Springbok rugby player and coach, passed away at 46 after suffering a suspected heart attack. He was coaching the Northam Rhinos when the incident occurred. Fortuin had a notable career, playing for teams like the SWD Eagles and Free State Cheetahs, and earning two Springbok caps. He later coached various teams, most recently the Northam Rhinos. Tributes have honored his contributions to South African rugby.
