💨 Abstract
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly being advised by FIFA to pay Cape Town Spurs R3 million in development compensation for players Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman. FIFA rules require clubs to compensate youth academies when they sign or transfer players under 23. Both players were signed by Chiefs after Spurs' relegation. Kaizer Chiefs have indicated a willingness to comply with this request after a similar prior case involving TS Galaxy.
