Kaizer Chiefs have released midfielder Edson Castillo, who is now a free agent. Castillo is valued at over R6 million. This departure is part of the club's broader squad cuts, with a total of 11 players released during the 2025/26 PSL transfer window, including several senior stars and two Development Development Centre (DDC) products. Kaizer Chiefs have also loaned out another player and allowed their captain to join a new team.
