Orlando Pirates will face Lesotho's Lioli FC in the CAF Champions League first preliminary round following their second-place finish in the Betway Premiership. Sundowns, the champions, have a bye and could face either Remo Stars or US Zilimadjou in the second preliminary round. Pirates aim to surpass last season's semi-final exit and reach the group stages again. Sundowns is looking to defend their title.
