💨 Abstract

Orlando Pirates kicked off their 2025/2026 season with a 2-0 victory over Polokwane City in the MTN8 quarter-final. New coach Abdeslam Ouaddou introduced seven debutants, and performances were impressive. Notable debutants included Oswin Appollis, who scored and assisted a penalty, and midfield duo Sihle Nduli and Sipho Mbule, who controlled the game.
