💨 Abstract
Kaizer Chiefs are reportedly set to sign Cape Town Spurs duo Asanele Velebayi and Luke Baartman, two promising young players. The Urban Warriors, however, are fighting to retain the players, claiming they still have valid contracts. Under NSL rules, Velebayi and Baartman should be free agents due to the club's relegation, but Spurs may attempt to circumvent this by acquiring professional status under new directors.
