Kaizer Chiefs have terminated Venezuelan midfielder Edson Castillo's contract mutually. The 31-year-old, who joined in 2023, scored five goals in 32 appearances in his debut season but was sidelined last season due to a fractured fibula and made only seven appearances. Castillo is the seventh player released by the club recently, amidst a wave of new signings.
