Orlando Pirates assistant coach Mandla Ncikazi revealed that former head coach Jose Riveiro attempted to bring Mbekezeli Mbokazi to Al Ahly when he joined the Egyptian club. Mbokazi, who made his debut under Riveiro, has since become a standout defender. Ncikazi praised the club's scouting department and the talent they have developed, including Mbokazi and other young players.
