Kaizer Chiefs will begin their Betway Premiership campaign against Stellenbosch FC on 10 August at the Athlone Stadium, as their usual venue is being refurbished. Kickoff is at 17:30. The club also faces potential departures of key players Manqoba Ozoemena, Samkelo Zwane, and Mdu Shabalala, while they are pursuing Nigerian striker Etiosa Ighodaro.
