Fawaaz Basadien, a promising South African full-back, joined Mamelodi Sundowns to advance his career but has faced challenges. Despite interest from other top clubs, his integration has been tough due to strong competition, particularly from Aubrey Modiba. Sundowns coach Miguel Cardoso acknowledged Basadien's struggle, noting that several new players are facing similar difficulties.
