💨 Abstract

SuperSport United, known as Matsatsantsa a Pitori, has been sold for R50 million to a young businessman from Bloemfontein due to years of financial struggles. This sale marks the end of the club as Supersport United as it will be known as Celtic United. The club, originally Pretoria City, was acquired by Multichoice in 1994 and won several major titles including three South African championships.
