💨 Abstract
All beaches in Durban, managed by the eThekwini Municipality, are currently open. This follows the reopening of Bronze Beach and Umhlanga Main Beach, which were temporarily closed due to a sewage-related incident caused by misuse of the sewer system. The municipality has advised beachgoers to follow safety guidelines and stay alert for future advisories, especially after heavy rain.
