💨 Abstract
A prominent German businessman, Bernd Kebbel was fatally attacked by a lion while on a luxury safari in northwestern Namibia. The incident occurred at the Hoanib Skeleton Coast Camp in the Sesfontein Conservancy, known for its desert-adapted lions. Kebbel, 59, was killed in the early morning hours after stepping outside his tent, unaware of the lion's presence. He was accompanied by his wife and friends at the time of the attack.
