💨 Abstract
In response to increased wasp activity due to warm weather in the UK, garden expert Josh Novell from Polhill Garden Centre suggests using garlic as a natural, inexpensive wasp repellent. He recommends placing minced garlic near outdoor areas, spraying garlic powder mixed with water, or growing garlic. Other tips include burning coffee grounds, using mint or peppermint oil, and keeping food and drinks covered to avoid attracting wasps. Sweet traps are discouraged as they can lure more wasps.
