💨 Abstract
Ivy can damage brickwork and hinder the growth of other plants. Chris Bonnett from Gardening Express recommends a homemade solution to eradicate ivy: apply a mixture of apple cider vinegar and salt directly to the ivy, ensuring it is dry and checking the weather forecast for a few sun days. The vinegar and salt should kill the roots and eliminate the ivy within five days, all for less than £0.50.
