💨 Abstract
A highly contagious parasite, cryptosporidium, has infected 84 people who visited a petting farm in Wales, with 16 hospitalized. The farm has suspended feeding and petting sessions. The outbreak is linked to visits between March and April 2025, and symptoms include diarrhoea, stomach pain, and nausea. Young children and those with weakened immune systems are at higher risk.
