💨 Abstract
Breast Cancer UK warns that millions of women in the UK may be increasing their risk of breast cancer by using everyday toiletries containing endocrine-disrupting chemicals (EDCs). These chemicals, found in products like shampoos, creams, and makeup, can interfere with the body's hormone system when combined. A YouGov poll revealed that over a quarter of UK women use at least six personal care products daily, exposing themselves to around 168 different chemicals.
