💨 Abstract
Marks & Spencer's (M&S) website is currently down for maintenance, shortly after a severe cyber attack occurred around Easter weekend. The outage follows a data breach that compromised customer information. M&S attributes the attack to human error and estimates costs around £300 million, with potential disruptions lasting until July. Despite the incident, M&S reported a 22.2% increase in adjusted pre-tax profit for the year to March 2023.
